As the leader of Riptide Creative I'm often asked what is it that got me into this industry... for me it was the challenge of creating something amazing each and every time... 

My first job shooting video and photos professionally was as a freefall (skydiving) photographer. This is where I got bitten by the bug. In freefall photography 60 secs is all you have to get the shots. There is no 2nd take, no chance to go back. The photos and videos must happen perfectly every time, regardless of the client, the lighting, or the weather. This challenging environment is where my love for photography and videography grew...

As a person I developed quite an adventurous spirit over the years, from my involvement in extreme sports, to my love of travel and exploration of far flung lands and amazing locations. Over the years my camera started to join me on these adventures, and now its barely leaves my side. From hanging out of a helicopter to hiking a snowy trail at high altitude in the Himalayas or free diving around the beautiful Whitsundays in my own backyard - these adventures really form a part of who we are and what we do at Riptide Creative. We don't limit ourselves in our every day life -and we don't limit our work for our clients. 

Over the last 5 years we have built a strong client base in the Whitsunday region - specialising in Adventure Tourism content for award winning tourism operators. This relationship continues to evolve and we look forward to continued growth as we continue to innovate and aim to lead the local tourism industry in social media content creation and marketing.

Our experience in aerial videography and photography has recently grown to now include UAV (Drone) services as well as our traditional aerial imagery serivces. In 2016 we became a CASA Certified UAV operator, with CASA licenced Remote Pilots working for our organisation.
